RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK
This special event marks the 30th anniversary of the popular and influential film from George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, which began the big screen adventures of legendary action hero, Indiana Jones. Following a screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Briggy Smale welcomes a line up of special guest interviewees associated with the film: Associate Producer Robert Watts, stuntman Vic Armstrong, and its Oscar winning Production Designer Norman Reynolds. They will discuss their involvement in the film, as well as its impact and legacy.
Robert Watts
Robert Watts was a key collaborator with Spielberg and Lucas, with producing roles on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He also worked on the original Star Wars film, as Production Supervisor, then as Co-Producer on its sequels, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Robert’s other credits include the groundbreaking Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He is the half-brother of Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch.
Vic Armstrong
Vic Armstrong is one of the world’s most legendary film stuntmen. As well as the Indiana Jones films, which saw him as Harrison Ford’s stunt double, Vic’s other credits include The Long Good Friday, An American Werewolf in London, A Bridge Too Far, Live and Let Die, and Superman II. He is currently working on Spiderman 4. Vic’s appearance at the event is subject to work commitments.
Norman Reynolds
Norman Reynolds’ won an Oscar and a BAFTA for production design and art direction on his work for Raiders of the Lost Ark. His other credits include Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Superman, Superman II, Empire of the Sun, Alive, Mission: Impossible, and Alien 3.
Robert Watts and Vic Armstrong’s appearances are subject to work commitments.

The Duke of York’s is one of the oldest cinemas in the world. It marked its centenary in 2010. Programming a mix of the best of art house, independent, foreign language, cult, and classic films, it also serves as a music venue and comedy club.

Space membership does not include free entry to events held at the Duke of York’s.
Entry to films and events is restricted by the classification given by the British Board of Film Classification or others. The Duke of York’s is required to refuse admission to anyone who is below the minimum age required by the relevant classification.
Mobile phones must be switched off or in a silent mode before you enter the auditorium. You must not take or make calls inside the auditorium.
You are not permitted to bring cameras and/or recording equipment of any kind into the cinema without proven permission of The Space.
To avoid disturbing customers who arrive on time, customers arriving after the event / film has started will not be admitted to the performance. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.
The Space will not issue refunds after seven days to the date of the event for which tickets are purchased for.
