SPECIAL THANKS TO HOTEL DU VIN AND BISTRO BRIGHTON

Situated in the Lanes conservation area, and a pebbles’ throw from the seafront, its 49 bedrooms are housed in a collection of eccentric gothic revival and mock Tudor buildings. Among the hotel’s many features are a heavily carved staircase and bizarre gargoyles, while the original double-height hall now houses the wine bar and recently added Laroche tasting room. Other new additions include the impressively large Dome Room and Pub du Vin, a traditional pub with a du Vin twist. Housed within this impressive building are 49 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites, all featuring luxurious mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs, DVDs and air conditioning. www.hotelduvin.com
