Cinematographer, Brian Tufano

Brian Tufano is, without a doubt, one of Britain's leading cinematographers. In a wide ranging career, he has worked on some of our most popular and acclaimed films. Brian's credits include: Trainspotting, Billy Elliot, Shallow Grave, Quadrophenia, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, and East is East.

He started his career with the BBC TV film Department and later became freelance. In 2001, he received the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Contribution to Film and Television, followed in 2002 by the Special Jury Award for Outstanding Contribution to Independent Film at the British Independent Film Awards.

Brian runs courses on cinematography at the prestigious National Film and Television School.
